SkillNet designs a POS modernization solution to gain maximum value from Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service (POS)

The largest privately-owned men’s specialty retailer in the United States has selected SkillNet Solutions Inc., Makers of Modern Commerce and global leader in retail digital transformation to provide its shoppers with great customer experience and a unified brand experience across channels.

Along with its online presence, the client’s 50+ stores offer the latest fashions in apparel, footwear, and accessories from 600 vendors and suppliers. The client recently completed their eCommerce modernization program and was looking to ensure that shoppers had a unified brand experience in pricing, service & quality.

They selected SkillNet to help them modernize their POS platform with Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service (POS) for enriched customer experience. SkillNet has designed a store solution that maximizes the advantages of Oracle Retail Xstore Suite. Additionally, leveraging its expertise in retail payment solutions, SkillNet recommended a suitable payment provider best suited for the client’s environment. To guarantee seamless integration, the solution features StoreHub, a tool-based on SkillNet’s intellectual property. The store modernization program will help the client improve their competitive edge and better meet the needs and expectations of their shoppers in today’s digital age.

Once the POS modernization program is complete, the client will also be able to upgrade their systems and processes to support a more seamless integration of their various sales channels (such as online, in-store, mobile, etc.) and provide a consistent, cohesive shopping experience to customers across all touchpoints.
