Retail Director of Business Development – North America

Work Location: Anywhere in India

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Target Prospects: Research and identify potential US-based companies in the retail sector that would benefit from SkillNet’s IT retail services.
  • Direct Sales: Establish direct contact with key decision-makers within target companies through phone, email, social media, and other communication channels
  • Relationship Building: Build strong and lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with our marketing and presales teams to align strategies, messaging, and resources for successful client engagement and conversion
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that includes prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets
  • This position reports to the SVP for Retail at SkillNet​

Educational Qualification:

MBA or equivalent 

Experience:

  • 15+ Yrs of experience 
  • Proven track record in direct sales, with experience in the IT or retail sector as a must have 
  • Strong understanding of modern commerce trends and the ability to articulate the value of SkillNet’s IT retail services. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse client profiles. 
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate time zone differences. Able to travel to US when required
